Organization for Medical Outreach to Communities, shortly OMOC, is a non-governmental, non-profit organization with a purpose to save poor people who are not able to incur cost (charges) for their health when they are sick.

OMOC, we do this because we know that our community is being vulnerable facing a lot of challenges mostly associated with health and health education.

Health Advocacy and Training
We provide direct training to our members and activities that promote health and access to health care in communities and the larger public
Research and Project
We conduct the systematic medical investigation using medical resources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions to solve community related health problems.
Guidence and Counselling
We provide professional, systematic and psychological help to the patients, and all the people in need in the community in order to facilitate healthy community development.
Community Medical Outreach
We prepare various health programs and educating the community on how to protect themselves from various diseases and infections and ensuring a nutritious balanced diet.
Raising Community Health Awareness
We educate communities about health issues through different media platforms especially using our social networks like Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram and Twitter.
Mental Health
We deal with psychological, and social well-being of the people. Because this affects how people in the community think, feel, and act. We believe that mentally healthier communities always can face their own challenges positively.

My name is Shaibu Issa. I am a victim of HEPATITIS B since 2017 when I was in high school. In February 2021, I contacted Dr Tumaini Waryoba, OMOC’s chairman through WhatsApp after going through OMOC social media networks and website and finding out that the Organization was ready to help people like me, hepatitis victims. They helped me with my hepatitis treatments at Muhimbili national hospital. And now, finally I can fight for my future dreams.
